The Crewe Chronicle has suffered rejection after Coleen declined its kind offer of paid work experience.

Coleen recently caused a stir when she put her occupation as journalist when submitting her wedding banns at Crewe Register Office.

Sadly for the Trinity Mirror weekly the 22-year-old, who reportedly earns £100,000 a year for her column in Closer magazine, said she was too busy preparing her June wedding.

Wayne Rooney may confess his sins to a priest before he marries fiancée Coleen McLoughlin in a Catholic ceremony next month.

The couple are due to tie the knot on 14 June and Wayne will be invited into the confessional box before the service.

I’m sure this is just another “blowing things out of proportion” article, but reports say that the above picture, of Coleen dancing with a guy at Mansion nightclub in Miami, “drove Wayne wild” and caused some teasing from his football mates. The article says:

A friend said. “Wayne saw all the pictures. His team-mates were having a laugh and a joke about it. He was getting the mickey taken out of him.

“He texted Coleen sarcastically saying something like, ‘Glad you’re having such a great time - don’t forget about me!’.

“Later he phoned her. Wayne basically told her she was making a fool out of him. The pair had a heated exchange.

Coleen is back in England! She was seen this morning at Heathrow airport, not exactly looking like she’d just been on a long flight. Coleen wore white skinny jeans, black top, black patent heels and an Alexander McQueen scarf. Despite looking cute and stylish, Coleen doesn’t look too thrilled to be back in the UK….or perhaps she was just tired. Welcome back, Coleen!
