When Coleen McLoughlin went for a wedding dress fitting, she took a staggering 11 hours to make sure everything was perfect.
A stream of friends and family came and went during the all-day fitting of her £100,000 Marchesa creation at a five-star hotel suite in London this week.
Miss McLoughlin, her mother, sister, friends, the New York based dressmaker Georgina Chapman who made the gown, and copious drivers and security guards, filled a suite at the Baglioni Hotel in Kensington from dawn until after dark on Tuesday.
Champagne was supped, tea was taken and top secret plans for the £3 million summer wedding were discussed by the gaggle before Miss McLoughlin flew to Paris yesterday morning to watch her fiance play for England.
