Coleen launched her first ever fragrance in August 2007. The fragrance — named Coleen X — is “a fresh, citrusy scent” which she says is “a really wearable, everyday fragrance”. Coleen wrote in her Closer column, “I went to the south of France to test different scents at the factory where my perfume’s being made. My idea was for a fresh, citrusy scent, so we narrowed it down and I took four samples home to test them on my family and friends. I had my favourite — and luckily everyone else agreed with me.”
