The Crewe Chronicle has suffered rejection after Coleen declined its kind offer of paid work experience. Coleen recently caused a stir when she put her occupation as journalist when submitting her wedding banns at Crewe Register Office. Sadly for the Trinity Mirror weekly the 22-year-old, who reportedly earns £100,000 a year for her column in Closer magazine, said she was too busy preparing her June wedding.
Chronicle news editor Antonia Merola said: “We had to go through her agent – she said thanks for the offer but was really busy with the wedding. “He’s given us some great stories since so it was worthwhile in that sense – it’s just a shame about Coleen.” |
